Pleased to make your acquaintance! I’m the Crochet Cowgirl, but you can call me Miri. I live in Alaska and Idaho, and am passionate about sustainability, ethical fashion, and the great outdoors.

When a friend taught me to crochet, I quickly fell in love – but also quickly grew frustrated with how many of my projects sat in the back of my closet. Although they were beautiful, they were hard to justify wearing regularly. Some weren’t supportive, some too see-through, and some just didn’t fit my everyday style.

Then I learned how versatile and diverse crochet can be. There are countless stitches, enclosure methods, and techniques you can use to make this craft work for your body – and you can learn them for free! I’m here to share the functional, modern (but cute!) patterns I’ve designed, and help you actually wear your projects!
